Congratulations to Keely Rochard - National Pitcher of the Week


Very much deserved! Just read those stats below!!!

"After earning ACC Pitcher of the Week honors, Keely Rochard has been named the Wilson/NFCA Pitcher of the Week, the NFCA announced Tuesday.

Tuesday marks the third time Rochard (11-3) is honored with national pitcher of the week in her career. She was named NFCA Pitcher of the Week twice last season.

Rochard appeared in all five games for the Hokies (16-4) at the JU/UNF Spring Break Challenge, striking out 44 batters in 30 innings pitched and only walking two. She threw complete games in all four of her starts and didn't allow a hit in 43 straight at-bats starting in Saturday's game against Purdue (14-6) and ending Sunday morning versus Stony Brook (7-3).
